22 very useful minutes from James “Splitsuit” Sweeney on understanding an opponent’s range and using that information to identify good bluffing/value spots.

As usual, he hits the ground running, but if you get a bit lost at the start, stick with it; he repeats and reiterates until it’s hammered home.

Monkey Thinking:

If you could see your opponent’s cards, you would rip every pot. Assessing your opponent’s ranges by using information you have gathered (and logic) is as close as you can get to seeing their cards without cheating.
If you work hard on this part of your game, then you will win more money. More importantly, the first time you make a correct light call because you rationally and logically narrowed your opponent down to nothing more than a river bluff, you will feel like a God.
